John Houbolt was an advocate of the Lunar Orbit Rendevous method of landing an astronaut on the moon. His campaign for LOR as a major contribution to the safe exploration of the moon by Apollo astronauts. Shown above are typical interpretive, diagram and label panel designs. The graphic treatment will unify the exhibit with a limited color palette while referencing the writings of John Houbolt and lunar photography.
